Priorities

“As your City Director, my three priorities are Public Safety, Public Works, and Parks.”
- Lance Hines

  • Public Safety I. “We worked hard for the new Fire Station on Rahling Road, but we must locate and build an additional Firehouses in West Little Rock in the very near future to keep up with the highest residential rooftop growth in the city.”
  • Public Safety II. "We must fully staff LRPD. Ward 5 has the lowest crime rate among the seven city Wards, and we intend to keep it that way.”
  • Public Works I. "We will finish the expansion of Kanis Road to help with congestion and growth of Chenal Parkway.”
  • Public Works II. "Several intersections will be signalized to make them safer in Ward 5. These include Rahling at Kirk Road and Chenal Parkway at Chenal Club Drive.”
  • Parks. "West Little Rock deserves development of a youth baseball and softball field complex and a dog park so Ward 5 residents can experience the same facilities and opportunities in parks that the rest of the city already has.”
  • City Government. "I will continue to fight to make sure Little Rock's city government is more efficient by eliminating waste and delivering services we as residents expect and pay for with our tax dollars."
